MUFASA THE LION KING

The world and UK premieres of Mufasa: The Lion King — Disney’s film exploring the origin of the iconic Pride Lands king featured major cast members and celebrity appearances on the red carpet. At the London premiere in Leicester Square: stars including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Tiffany Boone, Seth Rogen, Mads Mikkelsen, and others posed for photos against stunning set backdrops and installations, with set production created by True Staging Ltd. among others.

As part of the production set process, I worked with True Staging Ltd, an Essex-based scenery company providing stage backing, full set production in the workshop, on-site and event setup services too. The creation of props and installations took several months to complete, requiring meticulous attention to detail.

There were plenty of happy Lions roaring that evening in Leicester Square, and I was extremely pleased with how the event unfolded. The team’s dedication truly made this Red Carpet a special experience.
