Corrie Niellsen is a Modern Couturier known for craftsmanship, tailoring, exquisite detail and sculptural form. American-born London-based designer fronted her label in 2010 and has put couture back at the forefront of fashion with her timeless approach to style, hand-stitched garments and liberal use of fabric. She’s studied at Central St. Martins, worked with Vivienne Westwood, and after being chosen by the king of couture himself, John Galliano, at the Fashion Fringe as the winner in 2010, her creations became a major talking point in fashion, known for it's conceptual edge.

A clash of the bold, the strong, and the obscure became the focal point of our collaboration. Driven by a shared love for dramatic silhouettes, quirkiness, and expressive theatrical style brings us together. Corrie is by far one of my favourite collaborators, and our partnership has brought numerous fruitful productions over the years. Together, we have worked on editorial productions for a range of special projects and features.

The concepts are focused on distorted proportions, fragmented and unexpected textures, creating an environments that felt both theatrical and unsettling. Many times, I incorporated elements such as eerie lighting colour palettes, strong contrasts, and symbolic props to reflect provocative themes and dramatic silhouettes. The result was an immersive and visually striking set that enhanced the overall atmosphere, drawing the audience into a strange, dreamlike world.
