In the 2024 holiday season, Burberry installed a monumental 3D sculpture of its iconic check scarf in Covent Garden, London - a public art installation celebrating both the brand’s heritage and festive spirit. This oversized scarf sculpture was made from steel and canvas structures and acted as a landmark seasonal attraction, inviting visitors and shoppers to experience the brand’s signature accessory in a larger‑than‑life form. Rather than just decorating shops, the nstallation has created an immersive festive narrative around comfort, heritage and community during Christmas Covent garden festive pop - up events .
I have teamed up once again with True Staging Ltd. production team and worked closely with set and production designers to translate sketches and digital renderings into tangible scenic finishes. Executed prop-making, mixed paints, and airbrushed large areas, managing dozens of pieces simultaneously, overlooking and managing workshop wknd workload for large-scale installation. We worked like a team of buzzing bees, overseeing every detail and ensuring alignment with the design specifications, ultimately making Christmas feel a little more Burberry-like. The scarf was initially exhibited in Covent Garden, London followed by Singapore in China.
