In the period of distancing and forced confinement due to measures imposed by governments to curb the Covid-19 epidemic, several artists residing in Portugal, Brazil, Georgia, Australia, the United Kingdom, Italy and other countries decided to use their network to not only build artistic courses based on confrontation and dialogue with the other, but also to encourage each other to pursue their common creative passion, offering an attentive ear and support, as well as a glimpse of peace and serenity through the series of works produced..This is where the Anima Mundi Pax was born. The small community in the work of progress that allowed several artists to come together and perform a new Barbizon School or Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood - not signifying a particular style, but a feeling that has been prodigalized to the entire arts communities for far too long.
The exhibition held in Lucca, Tuscany - Arbor Vitae, was the first opportunity to see some of the works produced in those months of labor and loneliness, overcome and made fruitful by the ability to resist isolation and say, "I'll stay home eternally" - which could be interpreted as: "I only save myself".
The importance of breath - ARBOR VITAE exhibition celebrated the marriage between humans and nature, bringing awareness of climate change, life on planet earth, celebrating the importance of trees in our lives on a National Tree Day. We have created an interactive and painting artworks which engaged people with both personal and collective stories about breathlessness., importance of connection with climate change matters,. breathing well and hopes for the future. The exhibition has emphasised on a role of Japan in European art and a demonstration of classic Japanese ink painting techniques (sumi-e) was demonstrated.
